Down the stairs on West Main
We're DownUnder, a basement bar and restaurant in downtown Tupelo, and we're the home of the Kangaroo Dip. We cook international pub grub with a unique flair and make our cocktails by hand.
The room
Take the stairs down and you're in a small, speakeasy-style room with a bar, arcade games and a dart game. Come to eat, stay to play.
The chef and the mixologist
Our chef and our mixologist have over 25 years of combined experience between them, and the menu and the bar are their shared vision. Our team is committed to making sure you have a great time.
What to order
The Kangaroo Dip is our calling card, and the menu has Aussie favorites like the Australian pie next to dishes from all over. Get the 12-ounce ribeye and swap your side for the Brussels sprouts.
Behind the bar
Try the Irish Mule or the Spiced Pear Mule. We keep a menu of specialty drinks, along with mixed drinks, beer and wine.
